  3. orangenation64 30 October 2009 at 11:08 pm Permalink

no need to be an ass hole….someones jealous of the atmosphere and success for an expansion club

  4. popomaniac1 31 October 2009 at 5:13 am Permalink

more like used paul allens money to buy good players and cheat their way into the football world

    americans are ruining football

  5. orangenation64 31 October 2009 at 6:18 am Permalink

how is that cheating? theyre owners are passionate about their team and were willing to spend money to help the MLS…..and yes americans are ruining european soccer but they are doing a ton of good for us soccer

  6. popomaniac1 31 October 2009 at 3:48 pm Permalink

    first you call it soccer
that is a disgrace and an insult to football
    soccer is a retarded word

then just like man city you bastards are making football a thing that only cares about money
thats what happened to all the other american sports such as gridiron

  7. orangenation64 31 October 2009 at 4:44 pm Permalink

i only call it soccer cuz its an american video….im not from the usa so….yeah….anyways, as for american football people dont just care about money, that just tells me u dont keep up with the sports….theres this feeling that all american sports only care about money, its not true at all im from england and have lived in america for a few years and that perception is just untrue…american owners spend a lot of money yes but they do it because they love their team, fans, and community

    british piece of fuck
    motherfucking bitch
i know these teams NBA NFL MLB all of them are commercialized for pure profit
NFL has commercial breaks every 5 seconds and everything is sponsored such as the kickoff and coin flip

then NBA is just bs shit with tons of crap
MLB is commercialized with all the breaks

they all have million of sponsors

  9. orangenation64 1 November 2009 at 4:26 pm Permalink

no need for all the vulgarities it just makes u look unintelligent….as for ur argument ill give u the NBA because that league is ridiculous and theyre losing their fan base daily….but as for the NFL commercials every 5 seconds? do u watch the games? and im a huge football (soccer) fan but they have more sponsors per team than american football teams (look it up if u dont believe me)….hate on americans all u want but they care about money just as much as americans do…sorry

  10. popomaniac1 1 November 2009 at 5:25 pm Permalink

    NFL has gone too far.
    1. superbowl- most people who watch it only see it for the commercials, 2 million dollars for 30 seconds? WTF is that. plus they only let one network broadcast it just to increase the price of ads.
    2. the game is designed for commercials. thats why there are breaks every 5 seconds. In Football is see about 6 commercials max during the game that dont interrupt the game and a few more at halftime.
    3. The tickets are extremely expensive and they are a monopoly with reebok

  11. orangenation64 1 November 2009 at 5:39 pm Permalink

    1. superbowl….SOME people watch it for the commercials, thats their choice, i dont see the problem with that….a lot more people watch it for the game too which is awesome
    2. price of commercials….its just supply and demand noone forces corporations to buy commercials company’s just do it because they know it will reach a wide audience….and as for the one network thing, its basic cable so everyone in USA gets to see it so i guess i just dont see the issue

  12. orangenation64 1 November 2009 at 6:19 pm Permalink

    3. i dont think football (soccer) fans have any room to talk about ticket prices…..i went back a few weeks ago to go see a few games and i was spending anywhere from 100 pounds at the cheapest to 300 pounds at the most expensive for premier league games….nfl games cost anywhere from $40 to $100
and btw as for commercials in NFL games, they occur after touchdowns, timeouts, and every 4th change in possession
i love football (soccer)….i really do, i just think ur being incredibly ignorant

  13. popomaniac1 1 November 2009 at 10:10 pm Permalink

    wat?
i know too much about it as i live in the united states and i know how worthless it really is
the fans dont cheer for the teams, teams move from city to city, people treat the sport as a piece of shit

have you ever been to one of their games i havent cuz the tickets are so expensive i have been to dynamo games bc i can get tickets for 15 dollars but nfl is a ripoff
plus they only have 15 games a season and there are more channels such as abc and fox that could play the superbowl

  14. orangenation64 1 November 2009 at 11:03 pm Permalink

are u telling me greenbay packers fans dont love their team? or washington redskins fans? or seattle seahawks fans? these teams 60 year waiting lists for season tickets u say u live in houston….its just a bad example, houston texans tickets are overpriced and thats the reason their franchise is failing miserably….and if uve never been to a game u really have no reason to talk about the sport ur speaking out of pure ignorance and mls tix are cheap because the quality of play is so shitty

  15. orangenation64 1 November 2009 at 11:06 pm Permalink

and about the superbowl why do u care how many networks show the game? everyone can watch the game anyways so why is it an issue? the reason multiple networks show premier league games in england is because not every region gets every network….america is different in that aspect because everyone gets every game….and as for the amount of games the players are so beat up from the amount of contact 15 is really enough….the physical toll is just so large

  16. popomaniac1 2 November 2009 at 12:08 am Permalink

    physical toll?
how many games do rugby players play

football has way more games usually around 40 and its 90 minutes each game

  17. orangenation64 2 November 2009 at 12:27 am Permalink

football (soccer) has a different kind of physical toll….its all about endurance its not as taxing in terms of anaerobic injury….not to mention in soccer players are always missing games throughout the season for more minor injuries….same with rugby….rugby teams play 22 games per season, NFL plays 16 and the players literally play every single week…im not saying rugby and football (soccer) is any tougher/less tough than NFL football its just different

  18. popomaniac1 2 November 2009 at 12:36 am Permalink

obviously you havent even seen a gridiron game

they play max 45 minutes per game.
and the games last 3 hours

plus defense and offense are totally separate teams

and they have around 45 people in their team
each subs once in a while

    this sport is shit

  19. orangenation64 2 November 2009 at 1:22 am Permalink

i think u havent seen one because its definitely 60 minutes….and really i dont trust any of ur arguments if u dont know that because u obviously havent watched a game….there are 40 people on the team, though only about 26 or so actually play in the game…like i said its a different type of fitness, while football (soccer) is more aerobic american football is more anaerobic…..i mean the physicality of the game and the speed it is played at makes the sport just as intense

  20. orangenation64 2 November 2009 at 1:24 am Permalink

while football (soccer) requires a very long time of medium to above average effort, american football requires short bursts of increidible athletic energy….its the difference between running one marathon and a bunch of 100 yard dashes, they take a different type of athlete and a different skill set, neither is better or worse they are just different

  21. popomaniac1 2 November 2009 at 10:26 pm Permalink

but which one is more entertaining?
    obviously football

short burst of energy? in football you have to sprint while dribbling
in gridiron you hold it in your hands

  22. orangenation64 3 November 2009 at 12:05 am Permalink

i think they’re equally entertaining….i love both sports….in football (soccer) you do have to sprint while dribbling but in football you run with the ball but you have people absolutely destroying u with massive hits…..u also have people pulling at the ball while taking u down making it much harder to hold onto the ball
